1990 Buick Estate Wagon

Could be a good deal at $3300 assuming the listed 2 million kms is a misprint.

I believe him. After all, 2 million kilometers is only 1.22 million miles!

 

It is a very nice looking car, and the price is very reasonable, coming out to only $2500 US for the mathematics-impaired among us. Too bad he couldn't provide more than one photo.

I did a little more math. If that 2 million kilometer figure is correct, that's an average of just under 47,000 miles per year over the 26 years of the car's life. That's 128 miles per day, EVERY day. Possible, I suppose. But I doubt the car would look so good.

 

I'm driving right past there tomorrow. Maybe i should check it out.

 

That car is not the one in the photo. That photo is from an ad on 2040-cars.com. The VIN on that car tracks to a sale on fleabay in 2013 for 10k.

I'm going to see it. I'm expecting to see a 1990 estate wagon, but not the one in the pic.

 

The car i saw was not the car in the ad! It has 200,000 kilometers on it. Interior was ok, carpet is worn. Dog legs show rust. The Di Noc is blistering in a few spots. Started and ran well. Nice winter car. One owner car. Only had three weeks of winter in its lifetime. Generally sat in the garage. Original paint was ok and looked like most issues would buff out. I have a bunch of pics if anyone wants them.

 

That's very uncool to use a stock photo and not admit it.

 

He's down to 2100$. I offered $1200
