Small town northern MI. I've lived in Michigan for almost 30 years and I've never heard of Millersburg. The closest city that I have heard of is the bustling metropolis of Rogers City 15 miles away.

Looks like he's starting to have the same problem as I do with the armrest pad - it distorts over time, and sort 'pops out' of the base it's sitting on.... Anybody got a fix for this?

Don't look a gift Safari in the mouth.:D
Just be the first one there and pay the guy as fast as you can and get away before somebody else shows up to look at the car.
Phone promises to hold the car or wait mean nothing so you got to strike when the iron is hot, some guy will show up with 3001 bucks and the car will be gone.

Down to $2600, obo. It looks like a great car at a price that gets better every day. It's just too bad it is on the way far side of the middle of no-where,

KK, That's exactly what mine looks like as well, and I'm still trying to figure out a fix. I'm thinking the only thing to do is to fabricate a replacement of some sort by hand.

Will let you know what I end up doing, and how well it turns out!

"This cruiser rides like a dream and has lots of beans when you accelerate; rides super smooth."

A lot of beans? Haha, who on earth says that? I don't understand.

With that said, although this kind of good-looking car may be a scarcity in that price range now I did buy the Mercury for $2,500. Sure it now has 232k on the odometer but the previous owner seems to have used it for a long-trip car a lot.

I'm not sure what to say about a fix but it's the same on the 1984 Caprice my Grandfather had.
