    Maybe his wife said 'sell the car' and he 'ok, I'll list it but it will be for less than we have in it' and she says 'fine get rid of it so we can buy that place in "The Villages"'.

    Hence the car is listed, the wife is happy, and he won't have to travel to FL for the winters
