Pictures and the video speak for themselves, pretty thorough listing, gotta give the seller props for that... Not sure if the "Sport" moniker is legit? or just a thought, have never heard the reference to a sport model of 1970 Catalina, or Executive/Bonneville wagons for that matter, before now... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Catalina-Sport-/331699317627#viTabs_0
'Sport Wagon' in this case is strictly the sellers' invention......apparently to avoid having to say 'station wagon'. Buick sold a 'Sport Wagon', but not Pontiac.
Something about the nose just doesn't look quite right to me. Maybe this was just one of GMs 'awkward' children. Maybe Krash will chime in....
40 miles home at 70mph. This is a great old driving project wagon that has been garaged since 1982 Always good on a vehicle that's been sitting around a few years! Actually except for the crappy clear coat and some interior wear this is a decent looking "SPORT" wagon. My Dodge quad cab was a SPORT model. So I suppose anything can be sporty to some of us good sports. And the front end doesn't look any more "awkward" than some of the Ford and Chrysler products I've seen.
Hood wasn't latched in one photo, broken LT T/S lens, lower valance caved in, and the '70 full-size Pontiac front end was UGLY, with a capital UGG..... Other than that, it's perfect.
Wow you realy chimed. Bad Taten said: ↑ I asked my dog what he thought about this car....he said "ruff" Personally I think Krash and the dog are too picky! With a capitol PICK! Bow Woow!
Looks like he found it in .someone's yard and probably gave $500 for it and is now trying to flip it for way more than it is worth. Website says they want $6k. Lulz. Good luck with that. http://www.streetmachinestexas.com/1970_Pontiac_Catalina_Terrell_TX_259692179.veh I like the '70 Pontiacs.
