Original owner. Ordered this car new with every single option including leather interior, all power options including twin power seats. Only 55k original miles. All original paint and interior. The car is in excellent condition, inside and out and an example like this one is very hard to find. We do not use the car much anymore so it's up for sale. Asking 9000 or best fair offer. Cash talks. Thank you.
So ask Eagle Freek what he thinks. Just bear in mind that if it lasted this long, it's gotta be an excellent copy, so it may just be worth close to that.
This is only part of the story. It could be the best-condition AMC Eagle left on the planet, and that still doesn't make it a $10,000 car. Desirability is the most important issue, and AMC Eagles are just not highly sought-after cars.
I usually don't comment on what someone is asking for a car for sale, but that asking price is a bit higher than what I think it should be listed for. I'm trying to figure out what's going on with the driver's carpet. Looks pretty worn. A buddy bought a low mileage one a few years ago and he paid $6,500, but it looked like it just came out of the showroom.
Car brings back a LOT of memories of growing up in one... but yeah, that price is quite high. He could very well get it and that would be great, but it's a small market for the Eagle.
