    He might have better luck if he spells the word "Pontiac" correctly in the title of the listing. People who search craigslist under the word "Pontiac" won't find it.

    I remembered when I went looking for it on craigslist that I wouldn't find it if I used the word Pontiac, not sure why he wouldn't have noticed the error even the first time and corrected it...

    Because the world is full of morons.

    An entire industry has sprung up around the concept of people misspelling key words in their ebay auctions. Here's just one of many sites that will search ebay auctions using common misspellings of the keywords you type in. I don't know if such a thing exists for craigslist, but I wouldn't be surprised to find that it does.
