460 V8 and loaded up. The Lincoln aluminum wheels look great on it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/78-3-seat-s...r-brakes-/171944750648?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
Nice color combination, very 70's. Price seems steep as car has a few dents; front bumper, lower right rear quarter and along top of tailgate. Got my D/L in a 76 Colony Park. Can attest that the 460 with trailer towing package and low gears was very quick in its day for a land yacht. Surprised a few muscle car want-to-be's at the stoplight.
His BIN is very steep. Anyone who pays that much for this car is a fool. Where the bidding is at this moment (just over $4,000) is pretty good. He ought to take it if it goes no higher.
I was just going to post this and saw it already was - looks like a real nice solid Wagon - If were in the market for a big Merc I would look at this one...
Yeah, sold for $11,900. Now who thinks these bids are crazy. The real issue is - if you want one, find another one like it (much) cheaper. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-Mercur...DxuXw%2BLJBlQScNDxMac%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
