Damn. No woodside, no "Mom and Dad Save The World." The color is correct, though.

No luggage rack. Otherwise looks like a very solid car and like it might really have only 24,000 miles. But you gotta like yellow!

I can see some black marks/scuffing on the hood in this photo:

and he mentions the damage to the left front corner. Too bad. That's going to hurt his cause. He's going to have difficulty getting his $4200 asking price, in my opinion, with that kind of damage.

I am seeing some rollerblader hitting the left front, and rolling onto the hood. I agree the damage will hurt its value. But a nice looking car otherwise. You did not see many non roof rack and no wood wagons in that era.

It's like the Ford equivalent of my Chevy avatar.
There is one that looks like that for sale in MA with a bad frame.

Somebody has an ornament on this site, but the base models did not have an ornament, did they? Funny thing, Dad's '78 Fairmont had one; I always thought it was a gunsight for nailing dirtbag junk cars from the road!

I have about the plain-Janest 79 LTD on the planet and it has the ornament. But I do have the luggage rack.
