Looks Like alot of car for the asking price, Running 400, Power Brakes & Steering, but not much else. Some Rust Visable, but the interior looks good. Big wagons just look odd to me with no roof rack.

Yeah that is about as base of a car as they came back then. Doesn't look molested or missing any major components though. The rust is definitely going to be an issue since it's a MA car...

I hate to split hairs, but Maryland is MD. Massachusetts is MA. :)

The rubber on the drivers side is different in the first two pics than the ones with the snow on the ground and the chalk under the front wheel, it almost looks like its in better shape in the first couple of pics... I emailed to find out more about it, I would love to own one of these big beautiful 1970 Pontiacs, hope it doesn't end up in a derby or something like that...

I will, take the hit on that one, my bad. I know better than that.

And I see what you are saying about the 1st couple of pic's. Hope it is as good as it looks in those couple of shots.

I was just saying it looked a little different with two sets of rubber on it, so assumed the pics were taken at different times.

I got some info back from the owner. He said the gate works from both the dash switch and the key hole on the gate, rear gate swings and folds as it should, rear window is intact...
It has the 265hp 2bbl carb 400ci engine not the 290hp 400, and he suggested it would need a frame-off restoration to be done right, given the amount of rust on the undercarriage and lower portion of the body... guy seems like a straight shooter... unfortunate that its in such a poor state now, sounds like big bucks to make it right.

He also said it's not roadworthy for a trip of any distance, would recommend transporting the vehicle.
Owner said the wagon has a fuel leak, most likely a fuel line leak...
