Just $950 but brace yourself - one of the worst hack jobs we've ever seen on the forum!

To butcher a surviving 40-year-old GM clamshell because you're bored?!
I get the impression this happened pretty recently.

Looks also well optioned - has the fiber optics lamp monitors and chrome Buick road wheels - a
    terrible, terrible shame. :banghead3:

Want to be different ? Stand out in the crowd ? Then I have what you NEED. We call it `The Bumino`, the results of some late night fun and being bored with a car you really don`t want to drive around town in its present state and a lot of sawzall blades on hand . One of a kind and it can be yours for cheap . 455 4 bbl and turbo 400 for that fun power , runs good , been sitting a while so may need to be driven or a little tinkering with it, but it is what it is and at a price you won`t go broke over . Interested ? Call or text me

Doing that to a wagon should be against the law!

    EXACTLY!!!!!

This is strictly a parts car at this point - ruined forever as a GM wagon.

I dunno - could be a fun car to actually finish up! He's about 30 miles away, if anyone is seriously interested in this car.

I'd have to see more pictures, bit I think that's a flower car. I've seen a few before.

I don't think this one is a flower car based on seller saying.....

The Bumino`, the results of some late night fun and being bored with a car you really don`t want to drive around town in its present state and a lot of sawzall blades on hand

But I wouldn't mind seeing more pics also.

Seems how the Ute (different from a pick up) is an Aussie icon and was actually invented in Australia by Ford which according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ute_(vehicle) led to the creation of the US pick up in the 1930's, I can see this car a little differently than most. If it was done well, then it could be a cool car. We get all sorts of homemade sedan/wagon based utes here all of the time.

    Here is a Monaro

This one is Yuk! However I wouldn't mind see some more pic of this 76 "El Camino" styled Buick before I decide though.

One thing that would be cool, is how the tailgate was finished off. If it is still an electric fold away tailgate instead of the traditional drop down tailgate then this would be a very cool feature of this car!

Wikipedia, as is so often the case with most things on that site, is dead-a$$ wrong about the origins of the pickup truck, which was 100% an American invention in the mid-Teens. There were Model T pickups starting in 1914.

Apparently the $900 price tag on this Frankenstein is still not inspiring much interest. Go figure.
