It's probably sufficient info to generate enough interest for someone local to look at it, which I have to assume is the intent. It's not enough to get anyone to travel any distance, although for the price if i were in the market and could make the trip, I'd certainly contact the seller for more pics, etc.

Hello, My apologies regarding the photos (lack thereof). The wagon is in Santa Maria, I am many hours drive away, and my computer quit working so the photos I had were lost. I completely understand the desire to see photos of the wagons. I had not been back to SM since September, until today. I will be taking new photos tomorrow!
I recently lowered the price, I think the price is a tad low but I want to sell the wagon. I would rather it go to a person who ADORES wagons, rather then to someone who will trash it. As I said in the ad, this has been in the same family since 1977! It does need new side paneling. I appreciate the comments and feedback. I will take the best photos I can tomorrow. Thanks, Kasandra

    Hello,
I have to add, it has been an extremely rough year since my Dad passed away unexpectedly. This wagon was one of his beloved cars. He took care of it best he could given his advancing age, and extremely bad dissolving spine.
Professor, Sorry I did not give it an adequate description, I thought I did fairly well and figured I would answer more detailed questions when an interested buyer calls, figuring there might be an interested buyer from far away. The original photos I took were a few days after my Dad had passed away and it was completely chaotic at my parents house and I was asked to take photos of a few cars and post them for sale, all while being in shock.
If you would like to give me an idea of better info to include, I can possibly do that.
    Thanks, Kasandra

That wagon is gorgeous. I only wish I had the asking price. It sure looks ready to drive anywhere!

Sorry for your loss, Kasandra. Best of luck with the sale of the wagon, it looks like a good deal.

So sorry for your loss. Better pictures will probably answer a lot of questions. Closer pics (not so far away), interior pics, engine pics, close-ups of any rust or dents would help. Also, engine size, does the A/C blow cold, other options and if they work (like power windows, etc). Assuming you have a clear title with power of attorney (assuming the title is still in your Dad's name)?

Also, is there a link to the listing? I don't see one in the thread.

Good luck with your sale. $2000 looks like it could be a great price, but hard to say based on what we see so far.

Agreed. It's a good price for a car in as good a shape as this one sounds. But, as noted, much more is needed than one photo taken from 50 feet away. It would also help to put some wheel covers on it. Remember the concept of "curb appeal." It's a term normally applied to houses, but it works for cars as well. You want the car to present in as good a light as possible.

Hi, To n2ford and Savoy, thank you for your condolences. We are so heartbroken and still trying to find our way without him.
I have new photos but have not been successful in uploading them to this site. Can we say, FRUSTRATED??
I will update the craigslist ad tonight with the added pics. They are not the best photos and the wagon was not detailed. I had a very long drive home so I could not stay there to detail the wagon for pictures today. The new photos will have to do for now. We all know what a nice, detailed Colony Park looks like! No dents, no dings, you get the idea. Anyway, I give up on trying to post photos here. See if someone can update the craigslist ad to your site the next few days.
We have the original rims, they were removed for safe keeping. I did not put them on for photos, again, time constraints. If someone does not want to buy the wagon because the photos are not perfect and the rims are not on it, then I guess it will go to the automobile grave yard forever!
It is registered until April 2015. My Mom is also the registered owner and she asked me to post the ad to sell it so I do not need power of attorney.
Has cold A/C, power windows, power driver seat..not sure about passenger seat. New holley carburetor, appox. 100 miles, or less, on it. Will update more info later.
My Mom told me today, if the wagon is not sold by April then it is going to get donated, and will get smashed at the wrecking yard! Someone please save this wagon. Thank you again.

    check back later.

Thank-you Mike, the nice comments are appreciated. It's been a rough year. Check back for more photos via Santa Maria, CA craigslist.
I only wish others would read the ad and read my posts to understand the circumstances regarding the wagon. :(
    thanks again.

    Hello,

New photos on the Santa Maria, CA Craigslist ad. I added 19 more, and it still had the one from far away.
I have a lot more photos but CL will only allow 20. I took a lot of the engine and more of the wagon. I did not have time to detail the wagon but the photos give the overall general condition.
Message me if you would like more pics or info.

    Thanks everyone.

Add says it will go to a scrap yard if not sold? This looks WAY too nice to be scrapped. I sure hope it gets rescued!

    Hi Glide-Aways.

Thank-you for your nice comments on the wagon. We sure hope it gets rescued too. It cleans up nicely and really polishes up pretty. I am not able to do that now but a friend of mine had polished it a few years ago and it sure did shine!!

I will let you all know when it gets, 'rescued'.

Kasandra, so sorry for your loss, but trust me it will get easier. I love the wagon, and if we.weren't on opposite ends of the country, it would be in my garage already. I'm in Pennsylvania so cost of shipping is a huge expense. But I'm hoping you do save her.
