Yes, looks to be in very good condition. Price seems reasonable, too. If I was able to afford a 'collection' of station wagons, they would probably not all be the same make. One of these could very easily be included in the stable.
This is a stunning looking car for its age, kind of reminds me of well... me! It is still a bit too quirky and I mean Studebaker quirky for me though.
That was the thing with Studebaker in those later years- '64 in particular. This car could've been ordered with anything from an OHV 6 popper to a 259 V8 to a 289 V8, to any of the Avanti engines. THat would include the 289/289 R1, the SUPERCHARGED 289, or the SUPERCHARGED 304. Transmissions ranged from three speeds, three speeds with overdrive, automatics or even a T-10 four speed!!! FUN FUN FUN :2_thumbs_up_-_anima But most Daytonas would'a had one of the ho-hum 259s or 289s.
