1968 Dodge Polara

1968 Dodge Polara wagon. It is a rare bronze color(one repaint in factory original color). It has roughly 34K miles, believed to be original. Bought at a storage auction so title was "Milage EXEMPT". I changed all the fluids and the following repairs below. No third row seat. 100% stock and original. Solid frame and floors with original undercoating. Drive as is or will make a great winter project. All the glass is good.

Good:
-Power Steering
-Power brakes
-Power rear window
-Factory roof rack
-Remote drivers mirror
-New tires
-New carburetor
-New battery
-New brakes & hoses
-New trans fluid and filter
-Original Interior with no rips
-Burns no oil


Bad:
-Transmission shifts rough into second, but accelerates strong
-Engine runs rough until it warms up
-All gauges work except gas gauge(shows half tank when full)
-Small spot rust starting to show through in the corners of two doors
-Rear power window comes up slower on the left vs the right side
-Headliner is sagging but original

-Some small oil leaks

I don't know what it is about them but I have always loved the way these Polara wagons look!

 

Nope, not the original seat upholstery and the color is gold, not bronze which was much more reddish. Still nice condition.
