1989 Buick Electra Estate Wagon

    I went and looked at this one. It's absolute garbage. The pics make it look way better than it really is. The only saving graces are the aluminum wheels, and posi rear end. Lots of rust hiding under some really amateur bodywork on this one. Thick bondo sanded with 80 grit, and closest match rustoleum brushed on. This car is worth $800 at best. This is a good one for the derby guys, but the guy won't budge on his price, so I have a feeling he'll be holding onto it for a while.

    Thats amazing how misleading photos can be.

    Makes me wonder about a lot of the other stuff I see.

    Some of the photos in ads may not be purposely misleading but it's hard to really tell what most vehicles look like without being there.
    I've walked all around cars, bought them, and got home to find things I never imagined. Words like "why'd I buy this piece of junk?" come up.
    I hate to buy a car that's been freshly painted or primered. Maybe patina is not such a bad thing.
