Auction from a Dutch museum, just around the corner from where I live: https://www.bva-auctions.com/auction/lot/11116
Kinda  for the reason of the sale. Quoting the video in the link they say they want to expand but limited space is one problem so they are selling the old timers for more recent cars to attract the younger generation. Kinda sad to me, I'd rather go and see these ultra rare units than 50's cars the video makes reference to witch are much more plentiful in general if I went to a car museum. https://www.bva-auctions.com/auction/index/11116 As example (for sale) with the exception of Cat, it's not a matter of when was the last time, but when have you or ever or ever will see a 1929 pumper fire truck like this? https://www.bva-auctions.com/auction/lot/11116/4319145
How much is this in American money ?---- € 13.500,00---- Looks like some good buys right now and many are at that amount or near. According to this idea all of the old dinosaur bones should be scraped and replaced with newer dead animals............ ! I rarely go to cruise ins anymore because all that's there are Camaros, mid year Mustangs, and 70's trucks with dork wheels just like in Wal-Mart parking lot.
I love it just the way it is. Nice colors. Seem to be some nice old Fords for sale. It's sad to see museums closing and changing but I guess not many go to them anymore. Not enough action.
We had one here in Victoria, closed up early 90's if I remember and yeah I did go to see it one more time the last week it was open. for over 10 of it's last years it houses JFK's presidential limo. I tried searching the net for any old picture, all I found was the pamphlets for sale on Ebay......
