Not a bad looking wagon for the price.
Since it's sitting with the front wheels locked up next to a moving van or bread truck what's it got to do with a barn?
All it needs now is a surf board.:biglaugh:

I dunno, but if it were ANY mid '60s through mid '70s Pontiac wagon, I'd be in hot pursuit. These old wagons are rare as hens' teeth around here.

This one looks good from the outside. Be worth looking for someone closer.

I have a 67 Country Sedan with a running 390 I bought on the cheap. I was planning on working on that but I would love to stick the Country Sedan parts into this Squire. 2 questions: How hard is it to ship a vehicle as I live in Wisconsin and could I use the title from My Country Sedan for the Squire?

I shipped my wagon from Wisconsin to here in Oregon in Dec. 2012 - around $1,150.

Try uShip.com. I have found transport for three different vehicles. You basically post your shipment out to bid. You can add a price you want to pay (doesn't guarantee that is what someone will move it for) and you can negotiate with shippers.

My '68 Cougar shipped from NC to MI for $700. My Wagon went from Central TX to MI for about $950, and I had a complete '65 Mustang interior shipped from NJ to MI for $200. Both vehicles were open trailer, but you can request closed trailer if you prefer.

As for title transfer, no. Generally speaking (there are always exceptions) you can't use a title from one vehicle on a different vehicle. The exceptions are very sticky and for very specific circumstances.

    Good luck!

Talked to the owner and saw some other pics. Car looks to be very solid and interior is fairly nice. Does anyone think this is a good price for a parts car? I also have to take shipping into consideration. Thanks

In my opinion, no. It's an OK price as a project car and probably worth at or near the asking price based upon the photos and your description, but it seems like an awful lot of money for use as parts.

If you were restoring a rare wagon that was going to be worth $35k+, or the parts you needed were impossible to find and going to cost you more than the purchase price to get them, I would say yes. But you would have to pull an awful lot of parts off that wagon to make up your investment plus the cost of shipping.

In the past, when I get a good price on a parts car, I can triple (or better) my money on the parts I sell after keeping what I need, or exchange my good part for a better one from the parts car and resell my original part.

    Hope that helps.

If I'm not mistaken, there were different codes for the Country Sedan and Country Squire in the VIN in 1967. I don't know if your DMV is sharp enough to pick this out -- especially on a 47 year old car -- or if it might ever become an issue in the future. There are title services that might be able to get you a title for this car. It may be worth inquiring about it.

Shipping's not hard; you pay, they pick up and deliver. Prices and services vary widely. Do a little research and shop around. I had a car shipped about 3 years ago. Fortunately, it was drivable (barely), and I was able to get the car titled and tagged before it arrived, since it had to be dropped off at a truck stop about 5 miles from my home. You'll need a pretty big driveway to accommodate a car carrier. Take pvan's advice and check uship.com. Even if you don't use them, there's a lot of useful info there.
