Extremely nice Squire, especially with that interior. I'm surprised the guy didn't order it with the third rear seat. I'm not a big fan of the fender skirts, but that's an easy fix.
Frankly, I don't think it's worth the 33K, but who knows? It is fairly unique. I'd say more like the high teens.

The '63's seem to be one year for the Country Squires that is in high demand. You really don't see too many '60-'63 Squires around, for sale or not. I'm not sure this is a $33k wagon, but from all our other postings it's certainly in the mid to high 20's - assuming it is in tip-top shape.

Good as it gets for a 63 Ford wagon :pub:
Inside and out is - WOW

Remember way back a 63 Galaxie 4dr hardtop with XL interior. Was not restricted to 2drs.

I have been friends of the family that owns this wagon since the father bought it. The story behind this car is true. He used to take it to shows in the 70's and the car is still as beautiful as it was then. 33? I think that's high, but a car is worth what someone will pay for it. Any interest in this let me know, I'll check it out. Just saw it while it was being gone over, and it is as nice as the pictures.

Anybody know how you open the hood of a '63?

    I'm pretty sure it's conventional - hinges @ rear.

As I recall. Mid grill Ford emblem is release handle.

Why is every old station wagon with wood look on the sides a surfmobile? I'll bet this wagon never had a surf board or surfers near it. Please don't tell me it was stored in a barn!
$33,000 seems way to high but who knows. It is rather unusual and clean.

You're right, Finsrin. The center Ford emblem in the grille is also the hood release. I always thought that was pretty cool.

I've seen this car also, in person, and I can tell you, it's pretty neat. I remember this car when I was a kid in Hazleton area. And I've heard that story also....Oh, yes, I have also seen mercman in person also!
