Just saw this on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Fairmo...=131247243852&pt=US_Cars_Trucks#ht_791wt_1361
I bet it goes like a bat out of hell, but I'm just not feeling the love of that year on Mustang on the wagon. Looks to fat for the rest of the body. Several years back before I joined the forum I saw on the net a Fox wagon with a 83 or 4 Mustang GT front end, that more slender style looked real good IMO, like this.....
Yeah, looks like it was built right, with lots of nice go-fast goodies. But, I'm not feeling the front either. Would like to see the 83-84 GT nose on there.
Interesting; I've never seen anybody do this before. Looks like he removed the handles to the back door. If he'd wanted to do it totally correctly, he should've made it an actual two door, but it does make for a unique long roof.
I agree on that front end, Tedy. This guy had a similar idea as the seller of the white one, only his seems a bit more user-friendly: Here's a (poor) pic of somebody's with that nice GT front end:
I admire the work but I would just as soon stick with the original fairmont body work with maybe some subtle customization. mike
Curious on this. Andy - how much work would be needed on the rear part of the Mustang fenders to match up with the Fairmont doors?
