    Just out of high school I had a '74 two door Caprice that had the same body style..

    It was dark maroon, had a plush velour type maroon interior, white quarter vinyl top,
    and I had Corvette rally wheels on it.. the kind with trim rings and center caps.

    My friends were driving smaller cars.. but I always liked the big luxury rides.

    Don't see many Impala / Caprice Chevys from the early 70's that haven't been 'donked' by now..

    That's what I liked about it. That it hasn't been "donked".
