This looks quite nice from the photos:

    The ad text:

This is a fairly rare Mopar Wagon. Low miles for the year. The car was stored indoors for Most of its life. That becomes obvious when you see the Beautiful dash, interior and Exterior Wood Grain. I purchased it early last year and did some Freshening-up. The original owners had a gravel drive-way, so there were rock chips and rust scale on the lower part. The only rust through was the driver-door and rear dog leg.

The paint was also flaking-away on the upper rear fender above the gas tank door. I has these areas touched-up Over a year ago and still look very nice! The car was also Under-coated TWICE when new. This is very apparent when you see the door jams and under-side. The Wood grain has a few touch-up spots as well.

The Original owner had a hard time navigating in the garage. ( See Pictures on both front fenders ) The yellow spots are scrapes that can be touched-up as well, but it just never bothered me enough to touch-up. I had the other areas done to really show how much difference it makes to make the bottom shine as well. All the trim is there. Brand-new tires, Brake Booster, belts, battery, Shocks, Brakes. Power tail-gate works good. Radio works good. ( Outside antenna is loose ) A.C. is there, but I never use A.C. so figure on it needing work.

The car drives nice! This is just another car that I bought to get it back up to where it should be enjoyed.

Please e-mail any questions or if you want additional photos. I loaded-up the Full 24 Ebay allows. The car is 45 Years old, so I'm not offering or implying any kind of warranty. It's an old car that has drips from sitting for long periods. Loves to get driven! These cars were meant to Drive and not sit stored inside all year. As always, over-seas buyers are welcome, but as with all other buyers, Funds must clear before car will be released.

The Reserve is SUPER-LOW, so it should be met really quick! This is the 6 Passenger Model. Back cargo area does not have seats , but space for storage. And just wanted to mention a few dents and nicks. ( it's old ) If you really like the car and feel you MUST have it, shoot me a " Buy it now " offer!

I'm not seeing 'reserve not met' in the auction post, so with a bid of $2,025 so far, it appears it will sell.......

    In Denver, BTW.......

How do you open the tailgate from the outside? I don't see a handle.

A Mopar person will know for sure, but I think there is a little inside handle you use to open it sideways, as well as the inside center handle to open it like a tailgate.

That's an attractive wagon. I'm partial to Dodge's to begin with but I really like this one and the beige paint looks nice with the wood graining. I wonder though if the step in the rear bumper means this wagon has three rows of seats? The pics nor description mentions the seating.

You have to open the window and reach in to open it. This looks just like the one I had that got rear ended only this one is cleaner. If it doesn't get too high I'm interested in this one.

I once had a Travelall that worked the same way in that in order to drop the tailgate you had to lower the tailgate window first than reach in to pull the tailgate lever. Certainly not as swanky as the two-way tailgates or creative as the clamshells but still functional and simple.

Yup, on a clamshell both the window and power door can be controlled with the tailgate key lock.

Can you open the rear window with the outside key lock like on a 1970s GM clamshell wagon?
