My parents had one of those. I loved it. It was the only nice car they owned. Everything else was just a family car. They waited till after I was out of the house before getting something I liked!
A boattail Riviera is high on my list of 'cars I wish I could buy'. Even higher though, it a '66/'67 Riv - in my opinion one of the most beautiful cars ever made.....
I remember a neighbor lady when I was a kid that had a '68 Riv GS, it was the most awesome shade of med/dark blue with a white vinyl top and I believe a white leather interior. She was a elementary school teacher so kinda out of character when the other school teach ladies were wheeling around in 4 door slant 6 Valiants.
