I am seriously looking at it. I have been looking for a wagon for about a year and have finally decided on a Sport Wagon and I am giving serious consideration to a 66 Ford Country wagon that the current caretaker wanted to sell until I showed up with cash.

The other sport wagon is a 69 - all original but no third seat.

The Ford is also all original with some nice upgrades like vintage air. I want to have one in time for the ASOWA show at the Gilmore Museum.

That is one beautiful wagon, great color for that model.

Questions: , I see it has AC, but where are the dash controls? There's a picture of the heater controls and the AC does not seem to be integrated with them? I see the 2 round outlets on the lower dash as well as the center high mounted outlet.
What engine does this one have, 340 or 400? TH400? I see the yellow needle on the speedometer, I think that was a Speed Minder option Buick offered during that time, I guess it sounds a buzzer should you exceed whatever you have it set at?

    Good luck with your purchase!

    Mike,
Good question on the AC controls. I will unravel the mystery Tuesday. It has the 340... Not sure about the trans...

That is literally 3 minutes from me here at work and maybe 10 from my house. Let me know if you need any help.

The Trans will be a 2-speed ST-300 (not to be confused with a Chevy Power Glide) if it still has the original trans in it. Not bad transmissions, but almost impossible to find parts for. With it being a V-8 car at least it will be the model that is liquid cooled, not air cooled as the I-6 versions were.

As for the A/C controls, if you look closely at the Right Lever in Picture 43 of 50 you just make out it is for the A/C

I do have fond memories of the rear seat Sunvisor's on these cars, Don't ask!!!!!

Good Luck on the purchase it sure looks to be a very nice Buick!!!

I have to ask because ???????...... "air cooled I-6" in a 67 Buick? Who, what, where, when? I can't find any reference online, not saying it didn't exist, but.....

I think he must mean the trans was air cooled Tedy? I see that A/C position on that right most lever now, thanks Jeff.
