383 V8. Very sharp. What are the odds of two 1969 mid-size Mopar wagons both in excellent condition showing up at the same time? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Dodge-...eetmetal-/291153335644?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
Nice. Only smokes a little on start up. Radio and heater don't work. Buy-it-now price is $24.5K. Is this realistic? I wonder what it would be if it didn't smoke and everything worked. I note that the '69 Sport Satellite also has the third seat. Was this option more common in the very uncommon mid-sized Mopar wagons?
For $24,500, EVERYTHING should work flawlessly!!! It is one of 285 383 4-bbl automatic 1969 Coronet 500 9-pass wagons built. There were also THREE of these built with a 4-speed!!!
Well, that's the B-I-N price. I assume the seller will be taking something less on the auction. And the heater and radio don't work, either. Seems to me that if you're looking to get a big payday with the sale of your wagon, it would be prudent to spend a few hundred to fix things.....
An attractive wagon, also a model you don't see every day. I like the copper exterior color and tan interior. It looks like the woodgrain was restored using an airbrush technique. Not the way I would go, but it is interesting to see how different people re-do their woodgrain. The front and middle seats look like they were reupholstered. It looks like it was well-done, but the color is lighter than the original shade. I would think the original seat color matched the door panels. I will be curious to see if it makes its reserve price.
Rare car, in exceptional condition. It could well be the fuse for the radio and heater, but no matter what, for that price, EVERYTHING should work as new. The oil smoke on these Chryslers does not bother me much. It is often valve seals, and they can do that for a long time without getting much worse, and when they need doing, not expensive or difficult. For the right person, this is a fantastic wagon.
Nice that for the moment we can see more and better pics in the first expired ad. Looks great with the new wheels but personally I would drive it with the original full wheel caps. This wagon is in top five of wagons that has ever been posted.
