Original owner, 1980 AMC Eagle 4x4 Station Wagon - $3300 (Yakima)

    Ad text:
"Original owner, 1980 AMC Eagle 4x4 Station Wagon -- One of the first 50,000 built in 1980. Ordered and shipped from the US to Frankfurt, Germany. I've personally driven it over 300,000 un-abused miles -- the first 24,000 miles were in West Germany where it was broke in. Trail breaking two feet plus of snow didn't bog this car down and that's uphill, a piece of cake for this machine. Then I had it shipped to the US, received it at a New York Port and drove it 3,500 miles in five days to Yakima, Washington. Reliable and capable ride over the years, serviced regularly. maintained, and believe it or not --she still looks good, however, the lift gate could use some refresher paint (there is a story behind that comment -- to find out story contents, you'll need to arrange to see this car that I surely will miss, but I feel that it will end up in hands that will rehabilitate whatever might ail her - she's never let me down.) Oh, I almost forgot, the engine replacement has only about 60,000 miles on it, which replaced the original 258HP, 6 cylinder engine that endured 242,000 miles. Yours for only $3,300.00.
New starter, radiator flushed and oil/filter/lube-serviced; Michelin all season w/w tires; May 16, 2014, the right front axle was replaced, the left rear wheel bearing was replaced, plus other minor odds and ends -- so, parts are still available. She could even end up as an investment -- antique, you don't see many around anymore! Unfortunate about AMC because they created a fine machine, still taking me where I want to go for 33 years, and she still gets noticed. This clean gem can be available to purchase on May 23, 2014. "

For what you can see in the limited photos, it doesn't look like 300,000 miles.
