    Overall, I like it, but for maybe half that amount. It certainly is a looker, but I never was a fan of that woodgrain configuration. I love that factory accessory steering wheel, that's the type I'd be inclined to replace mine with.

    Last weekend we saw an 86 Caprice with more options and fewer miles sell on CL for $3000. Still a lot of nice GM square box wagons out there at reasonable prices. The owner of this Olds is dreaming.

    $3,059 is just where the auction's at right now. Reserve is still not met. Seller probably is hoping to get at least $10k out of it, which won't happen. Box wagons rarely are worth that much.

    Oddly optioned wagon. I don't know that I've seen a Custom Cruiser without the remote control option for the driver side mirror. (That was like a $12 option at the time.) The wires are 1980s vintage. I also doubt the sport steering wheel is original to this car. ;)

    I'd bet money it's not the original steering wheel, wagons weren't considered sporty, I think it is something the owner liked from the Cutlass 442 line, from whatever era that wheel was made. Looks good at least.
