That would be a fun project. That engine should be worth the price of the wagon.

Wow, That's a windshield unlike those put on most cars made in the last five years.

The 59- 64 commercial chassis (hearses, ambulance ,flower cars) and up to 65 75 Series Limos used this ,it is a 59 Limousine windshield it is only a few inches taller than a stock 59-60 windshield.

Thanks. It's pretty spacious. I bet it's a hoot driving one of those.

Looks like cars were a lot different in 1960 compared to cars made in 1999...

Great place for a modern duromax diesel during the restoration!..... wonder if it's ever been done?

Oh so much fun to be had with this I think! Shame it isn't still wearing its original colours, though. This thing would be beautiful if restored or awesome as a horror prop for either a good scary movie or a Halloween prop! I love those old ambulances! I didn't use to, but they've grown on me. Way creepier than hearses. Hearse carry dead people while ambulances had people die in them. No disrespect intended to them.

But they all ended up riding in a hearse.

Yeah but how many people bled to death in a hearse. Hearses have elegance. Ambulances have stains.

I always wanted either one to make a weekend camper. But it might be odd to wake up in the middle of the night in a hearse camper.

Hmm what about a horse trailer... with no memory of how you got there and half of your left pant leg missing, an empty whiskey bottle, and a black and white picture of some guy you've never met stapled to your shirt. :D
