You would think they would at least take the time to brush the pine needles off the car for pics! :slap:

Jim I am totally with you, and I think we've discussed this before...if you're going to sell and post a car for sale, how hard is it to at least give it a quick wash and hey maybe even clean all the garbage out of it?! I have to believe it comes down to pure laziness.

I've bought a few cars that were just like that......and cleaned them up and resold them for lots more...........one had an old, broken dishwasher in the back.

    oh man

It goes along with my pet peeve about not vacuuming the floor before taking pics. They've made it a "have to actually go and look at it before buying it" kind of thing. At least the tires still have air in them and the rims aren't rusting away.:49:

For 950, I could probably turn a decent profit on the car. It's almost 4 hours from me though. I don't think I can turn enough profit to make it worth the trip. Now if the interior were good, had a third row and it could be made to run, I could have all kinds of fun with that car.

I agree. I really feel sorry for this poor wagon, being neglected like that. Not to mention what looks like the carcass of a pickup truck behind it. :(

I'll bet they just want it gone. They priced it close to $1,000, but I bet, based upon their pre-sale prep work, somewhere between $650 and $700 cash hauls it away.

I couldn't agree with everybody more. For crying out loud, at the very, very least get all the leaves and needles off the thing. To be honest, I think it would be fun to give it a good detail with before and after pictures. It's such mindless work, but it looks so much better after you're done, makes me feel like I've really accomplished something.
The seller's probably going to wonder why he's not getting any offers on it. Hellooo!

I would take it no clean up needed.

    The ad's gone now.

I saw an ad for a blue or greenish 50s sedan. They had pictures of it and it was literally buried in a garage that fell in around it, And they were asking about $3,000.

Seconded. These are far too rare.
