    (y) Although the woodgrain is wrong, it is still a rare, highly optioned wagon.

I like the 1980s-era Lincoln wire wheels. Some of the other modifications, not so much.

It's a pity they didn't use a more authentic looking woodgrain during its "ground up restoration". It might have helped to justify its high price tag.

Personally, I don't care much for those wire wheels on this car. Are you sure they're Lincoln wheels? They look rather GM-ish to me.

I don't know for certain if these are Lincoln wheels, but they look like the kind you could get as an option on 1980s-era Town Cars.

I seem to remember some wire wheels like those being optional on some Lincoln or Mercury models in the mid to late 70's - Mercury Monarch / Lincoln Versailles, etc. maybe? I looked through some brochures but couldn't find anything.....

Were I putting wire wheels on a car like this, it would be the Thunderbird wires from Kelsey-Hayes. Those would look good, I think. These look drab on the car, and that wood in inexcusably bad for a high end, 'fully restored', car.
