Hunk of poo? No... It is a high quality, extremely valuable, classic car that has only had some "minor" modifications done. Remember, all it needs is a little "TLC" and you're good to go! :biglaugh::rofl::coco:

I'm surprised a 350 would actually fit in there.

Very common Modification, it actually Bolts in if you use V-8 Chevy Monza parts.

Yup and had they it would not have that heater cover on it. Look at it close the roof has serious body work and still has rust in the posts and such. I have never seen a vega rusted like that! Also if you look at the front end it has been wrecked, it's crooked and you can see plate and welds on the front drivers frame rail right behind the HACKED up radiator support. This is exactly why I won't look at already built vega's with V-6 or 8's in them too many hack jobs, rather do it myself. Hell done it so many times I could do it with my eyes closed!

I see what you are saying, and I have seen Vega wagons with D piller rust like that, but they are usually parts cars. I didn't look close enough at the pic's, and I see they did not rotate the heater core to put the hoses more to the right to clear the engine. (or use a V-6/V8 heater box and core)

So they must have mounted the engine 2" forward to clear the heater hoses, and then had to modify the core support. Strange!!!!!! I have but SBC's in them and was even able to keep the stock radiator location, and run a clutch fan.

It is hacked up more than I initialy thought.
