400 V8 with 15k miles and loaded up including factory gauges and tachometer. Not a wagon but way too nice and rare not to share. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Other-...aceaecd7e&item=321295142270&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
An amazing car, but I would not want to go far until it has a full service. 40 year old tires and hoses are not a recipe for a happy trip!
It does appear to be in amazing condition. Seller does say..... Quote from ad...... PLEASE DISREGARD THE DATE AND TIME ON THE PICTURES. I TOOK THESE PICTURES A FEW WEEKS AGO WITH A CAMERA THAT WAS NOT USED FOR A WHILE AND I FORGOT TO SET THE DATE AND TIME.
As has been noted above in big green letters in the posting by Fat Tedy, the seller says in his listing that the dates on the photos are wrong and that the photos are current.
As I recall, the last couple of Elites I've seen up for sale have had asking prices at least this high. Of course, that doesn't mean they're worth it. Strange, I used to not care a great deal for these, but in the last few years, I've become more and more fond of them. I would like to have the dash from one like this (a junker of course) -- or actually from three like this, since I have 3 cars it would fit. Unfortunately, the rally dash with the woodgrain dash mask wasn't offered for Torino, Montego, or Ranchero, only for Elite. The few times one has come up on ebay, it's either been priced exorbitantly or I get sniped.
