If it is as good as it appears that is a bargain IMHO.

No air deflector, and there is something out of kilter about the back. It almost looks like it was hit and not trued up properly.

Aluminum rear bumper I would bet is why it's crooked in the rear.

the bumpers themselves do not usually go bad but the aluminum braces (between the bumper and bumper shock) are very thin and oxidize surprisingly fast

if that's not bad may have a bad body mount in that corner but I would bet the bumper

A small detail, but something that immediately stood out to me when looking at this photo. The "LS" badge is in the wrong place. It should be on the left side of the tail gate next to the "Grand Marquis" badge. Also, I'm not sure if it is just my computer screen, but it looks like the rear bumper has some minor damage near the bumper pad on the right side. Perhaps someone backed into something and that is why the bumper looks a bit off kilter.

Correct about the LS emblem, it goes on the left after "Grand Marquis". On the car I sold, I took the emblems off when I removed the dime-store woodgrain shelf paper...and I misplaced three of the emblems! And I still can not find them.

I agree that someone either hit this car, or the owner back over something to cause the bumper to go up like that.

The Ice Blue and the dark blue that FoMoCo used on these are among my favorite blues.

At least some of them are in the storage bin in the wayback. I remember seeing some when I was stashing some type F back there.

look at the pic a bit more yes there is a mark on it but it is not UP on the pass side save for the DROP on the drivers side

the bumper is actually resting ON THE PLASTIC/RUBBER filler and pulling down on it on the drivers side. U can tell by the drooping down of the bumper filler

The top and bottom trim on the quarter look to be out of kilter, too. All in all, I think there is poorly repaired accident damage on this one.

This is a gorgeous car. The 88-91 Ford/Mercury wagons aren't my favorites but this one is very much what I'd be looking for. I also just learned that the 83-87 Panther wagons are lighter than the GM B-bodies of the same years. Might come in handy later. 88-91 have no weight savings.

I wonder if the instrument cluster from a police package (or base/LX) 90-91 LTD Crown Victoria would work in the Colony Park? I don't like silver or white faced gauges. Like this?

Same dash, it should be a bolt-in without any mods.

Yes, but I'm sure you will need the speedo cable for the cop one also.

There is no cable. Just the speed sensor. I had the cluster out of my '91 when I replaced the odo/speedo gears, and there was not a cable.

On any other car with a cable, usually nothing needs to be replaced. Swap clusters and go. I did that with a couple of '66 Dodges. I installed a '67 Coronet R/T 150 mph speedo in place of the 120 mph unit. Perfect swap, no mods, install and go.
