    400 V8. 38k miles and loaded. (y)

The bad news is I'm told it just sold. Wanted to post the pics before the ad is taken down. This has just about every option you could ask for on a 76 CE except for the 454 V8.

no opened drivers door pics looks to have a smunched drivers side just above the headlight or a rust spot

it's rusty on the drivers corner bottom of the 1/4 panel(normal I know BUT) Its already been repainted why at 30,000 original mi would it need a repaint???

This car is mine and it is NOT sold yet

Hi. I'm that guy. This is my car. This car isn't sold yet. It indeed is sporting original paint. That's not rust on the top of the headlamp, the paint got chipped off somehow there. The spots on the hood are oak leaves which fell the night before during a rain storm. I've been in contact with one of your buddy's on here and had to convince myself that an overseas transaction would not be a scam. I'm pretty convinced now that it is not. I sent a long detailed message to your Aussie friend about nearly everything about her. Hopefully I will hear back soon, yes? Thanks, Mark

    Also,

The black stuff you see along the length of her power lift gate is just crud that I was too damned tired to get to the night before:). Mark

    And once again...

I didn't shoot her driver side doors while open because of how fast and careless people drive down my residential street!!

Hey Markey, great stuff! I just sent you a detailed email, and thanks jwdten for the heads up, much appreciated:tiphat:

I am fully aware and appreciate your current commitment at this stage so it is just a waiting game now, so whatever happens, welcome aboard.:Welcome:

For the rest, let me tell you there is lots to know about this one. Markey has supplied me a great list of information including a reasonable amount of history and what options it has etc., which I or even Markey will be able to share in time, but at this stage please forgive me as I am trying to hold my cards to my chest though!

Also I have to thank Markey for his prompt and detailed communication which actually makes a welcome change from some of the other sellers I have tried to deal with out there as well.

    Cheers Mike.

Make me an offer I just can't refuse!

I'm sitting on my front step as I type this looking at her across the street. I've wanted her for years, got her recently but wish to have a 70s GM convertible, as I already have another dream wagon. I just sent you anoth message via email, just waiting on your reply.:drink: and yes, I'm having a cocktail...

I read on your ad where you are looking for a pre-78 Toronado. There is one of those for sale here locally... it is silver, looks nice. I can get more info if you are interested. I think it is a 1975-77 model. It is definitely one of the big-body models, but has the square headlights.

Too bad I don't still have my old Toronado. In 1992, I had a 1971 Olds Toronado Brougham that was in MINT, MINT condition! It was dark red with black interior. I bought it for $300, gave it to my grandmother in 1993, then my aunt borrowed it and wrecked it (hit a bank after swerving to miss a duck in the road) and it dented the bumper/fender a little. It set for about 2 years, then my uncle gave it to the junk yard!!

I think the local one is a '77... it looks like this one... (the '76 didn't have the cross-hatch grill).

MY old Toronado was identical to this one...

That is a nice looking 76 estate. I wonder how many are left in America?
