YES, I think so. Of course, I'm working on a definition of "worth" to mean that as time continues to pass these wagons become rarer relics of automotive history; not the fiscal sense of the word. Nobody (in their right mind) chooses this hobby to make a profit, lol. It sounds like a restoration project candidate; not far gone enough to simply part-out. And if it's kept out of the hands of any demo derby....well, need I say more?
It's definitely worth an email, if it turns out to be less hassle than that other Caprice wagon. Sure this needs some cosmetics, but no big deal. And it has wheels that look like they came off one of the bubble Chevies from '91 plus.
The blue puff on start is no big deal to fix, and the rest looks like it is in decent shape for the money. Well worth an email, and just think, the price of bringing the one from B.C. will do a LOT of repairs to this wagon!
I think this may be a good vehicle for me to practice mechanical work and body work. It wont matter so much if I make a dogs dinner out of it. I have been reading books on basic car......stuff......so when I look under the hood or under the car I at least kinda know what I am looking at.
No pressure though, lol. I've totally embraced this "sickness". It's been over a year and half since I sold my wagon; owned a coupe in the meantime (just sold that) and am now craving for another wagon. There's just no substitute.
