Certainly needs a lot of attention to the cosmetics, but the last one of these Town & Countrys we saw with an Imperial front end was going for 10 times this price........

There have been a few odd choices in the customization area. Other than that, this could be a fun project for someone given what appears to be a reasonable price for decent condition.

The original interior was white with the burgundy dash. My guess is the same car that donated the header also donated those very nice seats, which is why they match the dash. Aside from that one bit of questionable customization, this car is beautiful. My guess is that this could be a very, very, VERY good buy for someone who really wants a Town & Country.

I love that front end. Pretty cool looking wagon. Wish I had an extra $3,500 so I could buy it and have it shipped home

The front end alone is a prime example of what modern designers are lacking... style.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. I like the IMperial front end; I have to admit my ignorance here; that's not factory stock original, right?

No, the front end is not factory stock, but IMO that is the way these wagons should have been made, or at least optioned. Stunning combo on these wagons, far better than what was available at the time, again IMO. How ever, the red/white combo in this creation just does not work for me, one or the other, but not both....... But I'd still drive it.

    hey, hey, hey

Didn't know some of these pieces aren't original to this car,,, it looks great the way it is.. If it's one of a kind because of it, then so much the better. And, that IS a nice price.

In 1974, Chrysler and Imperial steering wheels were all black, no matter the rest of the interior color, so I'm guessing all of the red interior parts came out of a later car, maybe a '75 Imperial. It looks like the original color of this interior was parchment, and I'm guessing since it has a brown exterior, the dash was maybe gold.

Yeah, I guess the Imperial door panels wouldn't fit, because the doors were hardtop frameless, and the wagon doors are, of course, different. If it were mine, I would just get some custom-matched vinyl dye and refinish the parchment elements. Those seats are gorgeous!

This T&C looks like a great deal!

    David :)

Now...let me make sure X....you like this Imperial front end right??

"Modern designers" meaning those of the 21st century vs. the 70's?

I consider the Chrysler waterfall grille one of the high water(pun intended) marks of the 70's automotive design. My great aunt and uncle had a triple white New Yorker that had it that was absolutely a beautiful car compared to most of the 70's domestic offerings.

That is indeed an Imperial front clip. There are a few running around with this improvement. even one in Sweden that I saw at an American car show in Cologne, Germany back in 1989! The way these should have been built...or at least available.
