Can anyone tell from the photos if this blue '76 Pontiac Grand Safari has the 3rd seat?

    I cannot.

Just trying to judge value. :D

I haven't been able to figure if it has a 3rd seat either. Not enough photos to even be able to tell if it has the split 2nd seat which would depict that it has the 3rd seat.

The owner said that it does have the third seat.

Somebody should grab this beauty. Too nice for one of us not to get it.

I emailed the seller. He said that it does indeed have the 3rd seat option. Makes this Grand Safari even "grander". :)

This one looks pretty nice, even with the flaws seen in the photos. It is a good color combo, well equipped, last year for the big clamshell wagon, and has the rectangular headlights, which I think looked especially attractive on the big Pontiacs.

It is possible you could get away with just a little repair work and repainting of the lower sides, not requiring a complete repaint.

Bidding should be interesting on this Pontiac. I think seller could get way more than the $4000 he's asking on craigslist. That red '75 Caprice Estate is already bid to that and it is not as fully optioned, and doesn't have the 3rd seat.

It even has the rare factory gauge cluster. Very impressive! :yup:

Yeah, it also has the optional trip odometer. That is the exact same cluster as my '73 Grand Ville, except mine has the dummy lights and it has a 120 mph speedometer. I think they went to the 100 mph speedo in 1975, but it may have been 1976 until they did so.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but this car also appears to have the rear window defroster (wires in back window), as well as the lower door courtesy lights... those were also optional. The lack of power door locks seems to be about the only option this car lacks! Other than that, this car appears to be loaded to the max!
