Someone was fishing to see what the reserve was, found out then dropped out. As for the other two who knows maybe they were just bidding each other up to drop it on the other guy. I think the car is well worth the reserve.

For What it is, $13k is more than reasonable I think. Surprised it didn't sell.

If the reserve really was $13,000, I'd say this one is well worth it. Very special wagon, and quite the looker too!

I remember seeing ads for the Dodge Diplomat in 1978 National Geographic magazines, along with 1978 T&C ads. The Diplomat looks like Dodge's answer to the Chrysler woody at that time. I love them both.

I love this 1978 red Diplomat--except for that stupid aftermarket sport steering wheel. Somebody should find an appropriate OEM steering wheel for that model and put that in instead. I've seen classic cars that someone has equipped with the aftermarket steering wheel--which looks tacky IMO.

I forgot to mention, those aftermarket rims need to go too--replace them with OEM wheels too!

That steering wheel is NOT a cheapo Grant GT, that is a LeCarra wheel that probably sold for around $350.00 new.

The wheels work well on this one, IMO. Besides, 15" tires are a serious PITA to find these days! I like the whole package. Well-bought.
