If you're squeamish or have a weak stomach I'd advise you not to look at this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Galaxi...c734675e8&item=190912558568&pt=US_Cars_Trucks Sad. Very sad.
In our little town there is a slender old guy who shaves a few times a month, 60 to 110 years old. Looking closer to the 100 mark. He drives about a 1985 low top Chevy van. It is silver, grey, and rust with lots of holes. The sliding side doors are held shut with a hole drilled in the rain gutter and a phillips screw driver hanging down. After many years, he just keeps rolling around. Inside appears to be everything he owns. I see this van around town nearly everywhere. At the post office, Wally World, McD's, etc. It actually runs but I have no idea how well or how far each day. I don't know if the old guy lives in the van or a small RV in a nearby campground. I've heard both stories. As far as I know there are no major dents or missing parts. Yet it looks like a demo derby reject.
I think it was a good car. You can see what happens if a car sits 5 years. And then there is a madness going about some Chevy dealer closeout sale of cars that sat even longer. Have fun
When I lived in Tennessee, back in 1990-93, there was a similar wagon in Winchester TN; a white '65 Biscayne wagon filled with junk that slowly crept around town, a scruffy hobo-type behind the wheel. I kind of admire folks like that. Pete
Yeahhhhh, that's just a donor parts car for someone else. Shame... but some good parts on that machine.
Jim your right on , very sad and has little to offer except a few good bits for someone with a project
We can arrange special discounted shipping to Australia on this wagon for all Ford lovers wanting a quality survivor.
