30 original miles?! Claimed time capsule car - supposed garage find in Queens NY. http://newyork.en.craigslist.org/que/cto/4067630714.html
30 miles and not one, but two, AAA stickers-- one on the bumper and one in the rear window. "HE USED IT FOR SHORT TRIPS AS HE HAD ONLY 30 MILES..." Is that even English?
From the pictures and what I can make of the text, this looks to be a one owner car, with exceedingly low miles on it. It may take some work to get it going again, but this could be a true time-capsule car. Maybe high on the price, but it would need a good looking at to determine that.
It probably reads 30 miles on the trip odometer. . That is the right New York license plate for when it was new. Maybe the guy won the thing in a church raffle and didn't drive, who knows? Is that razor wire running along the top of the chain link fence on the right?! Could the car be in some sort of automotive prison??
Sure is, must have been one of those grumpy old men..... put up the razor wire so when the kids next door lost there ball they couldn't get it back! ...... The last thing little Johnny saw when bravely he went over the wire to get his base ball Or maybe the Burbs lived there????
Way too much for a '91. It's filthy in and out, and had lived in Queens, which is wet 90% of the year, garaged or not. Would have to take a hard look under it and all around before buying that sucker.
That was very painful to read, my head hurts. The ad states " IT IS A FLUE GAS CAR CYL/PROP 8" How can it be a flue gas car when I don't even see a chimney??
The whole time I am reading this ad to myself, I am hearing the voice of "Apu" the Kwik-E-Mart owner from the Simpsons. Thank you, come again! Now where did I put that slurpee??
Nice job photographing the rear end to death and nothing else. This car might not even have a drivetrain or front cap for all we know.
Yes, the over all impression from the ad IMO is....... Weeee's dun guts uz da howse now end lookey whats wee finded in the famalize roooom, A Vee-Hicle!
