hey, hey, hey A not too bad looking wagon... Are those vents louvres on the tailgate to help make it rusty inside?.. That 350 could easily be over 300 bhp. Not sure why it's advertized in one state, when it's in another, but hey---
The rear vents were used on all GM full size models for 1971 only as part of the flow-through ventilation system. My understanding is that they were dropped after just one year because of the very reason you mention - letting in too much water.
I didn't even see that it had the 350cc engine when I read the add the first time. Must have been a special order! LOL!
Beautiful car. I think the sellers should keep the wagon, though, and ditch that 'wagonette' that is in the back ground! I still can't get over how plain the interior of it looks compared to the exterior. Outside, it looks like a semi-luxury model, and inside, it looks like a lower trim level. The two just do not quite match up to my eye.
