Hmmm...me thinks the wood looks a bit dark on this one. I think I prefer the lighter shade of wood that is seen more commonly on this model. I'm guessing the darker wood was used to contrast the white paint...

I can't say for sure, but I think 87 was a dark wood year for these. My 87 is dark and the few other 87's I ve seen online are dark

Best-looking stock '80s aluminum wheels out there! These are such a nice car, especially with those wheels.

I think the dark wood was used on the LeSabre Estate while the lighter wood was used on the Electra.

You may be rite, as I mentioned...I'm not really sure. But from what my peanut brain remembers, I've only seen the dark wood on the 87 models.

Correct. My parents bought a brand-new '86 Electra wagon when I was 12 and I STUDIED the brochures and options. LeSabre's got dark wood, Electra got light wood.

And yes, I love those wheels too!!

I'm really liking the white on wood but loking closer at the only pic..... looks like it's missing the rear bumper fillers and the front also.....

Those always crumble after 25 years or so. Reproduction replacements are available.
