I wouldn't be adverse to getting one - as long as I checked it out thoroughly. These could either be great, or dogs. Pass on any with a 4-cylinder. My preference would be for a Buick or Olds with either the 3.8 or 3.3 V6 engine. The Chevys and Pontiacs came with the 2.8/3.1 V6's.

The 1994-1996 models of Century and Ciera also had the Chevy V6, the 3100 engine. 1993 was the last year you could get the 3.3 engine. 1988 was the last year for the 3.8 engine. The 3100 in my 1995 Ciera sedan sounds and feels like a 4-cylinder from inside the car. Has that V6 exhaust burble outside though. I would rather it had the 4-cylinder in it personally. That 2.2 Cavalier engine was perfectly matched to the 1995 Century I had before.

Good solid cars, I see them all the time around here... sedans and wagons.
