Racing stripes on a wagon? wrong ugly wheels, an extra tachometer onder dash, I think this thing has seen some abuse. What happend to the fender skirts? They ruined those for the ugly wheels. And not to forget, there is a LOT, LOT of rain in Portland, so count in some rust issue's. For the money, the car is ok, but wait for the real surprise...
I can go see this one if anybody's interested. Although it's advertised in the Portland CL, the wagon's actually in Sutherlin, which is around 65 miles south of where I am.
The tires must be too big for the skirts, so he modified a set. If I understand the ad, the original skirts also go with the wagon. David
Actually I think that it would look great without the skirts as more of a cool surfie style cruiser (without surfboard) "BUT" if it was in the right colour like a pastel but strong yellow or pastel mint green or a matelic steel blue, lowered with the right wide period style wheels with BF Goodrige tyres and also without replacing the wood sides. The side profile and rear door line is very neat on this Olds is noticed far more without the wood.
