Always on the lookout for "the one".... Here's the latest batch. CLEAN '91 up just north of Dallas. Yeah - that green/turquoise Caprice sure does look familiar. Must be someone on the GM Longrooof forum that has one exactly like it I think. That black RMW is sharp!
I'm gonna have to check that Tulsa car out! Holy crap, is that sharp or what??? I'd have to tint the door windows to complete the look I want. Someone, PLEASE buy my '91 Colony Park!!! I need this Buick, and would really need to sell the Merc to get this car.
I think it's the blackwalls. Like mine, it makes it look like it's sportin' truck tires.......can't wait to put on something with a lower profile. These P225/78R15's gotta go.
I agree. This wagon could be a poster child for a wagon needing sportier wheels and tires. I like it otherwise.
That's for sure. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima The worse they can say is "H311 NO!" So the conversation can only get better from there.... doesn't it?
Because they said no now doesn't mean they won't again if it doesn't sell right away. Always worth a few additional tries. Nothing to lose but the cost of a phone call.
I'm getting very weary of CL sellers and buyers these days. Texted a guy about a 1995 Riviera (runs, bad water pump, 120K miles, nice interior he claims) for $300 this morning, about an hour and a half after he posted his ad. He says he'll be there all day and to text when I'm ready to come see it. A few minutes later I pulled the ad back up to see if he added any pictures, and he didn't, but he jacked the price up to $450 and added "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE" to the ad. So now when I go to check this out this afternoon, IF it is still available, I wonder if he'll jerk me around on price? All I want the car for is the engine/transmission for my Ciera. I'll be parting the rest of it out. UNLESS it's really nice and deserves a new water pump and go back on the road, at which point I'll try to deal with the no title thing and get it in my name to resell after I've got it as nice as I can get it. I'm betting the body is shot and it's probably got a lot of other problems than just a water pump. But I'm willing to gamble on it, it's a Riviera, it's supercharged, and it's worth the hassle even at $450. It's just such a hassle to deal with people who don't know what they want, people who don't know what they have, people who think they have something really good, and people who want to add a bunch of strings to a sale. I just want to hand you money and call a tow truck, why make it so difficult?
