This seems like a very good deal to me! He mentions a few rust spots, and there are not many close-up pics. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1977...agon-NO-RESERVE-/321125749308?forcev4exp=true
Really nice car for the money, but the lack of power windows kills it for me. Nice, though, to see the cloth interior in such beautiful shape. Someone will end up with a great car. Fantastic to see the rear disc brake option, too. That is not overly common, especially with the 400 engine. It was mostly seen on the trailer package cars with the 460.
first impresasions saw that color, and for a minute was puzzled how someone in the US Forest Service managed to wrangle a woodie wagon. but it's a pale metallic flake paint job. No, not my favorite color for an interiour, but this one would do in a jiffy. and yes, the rear disc brakes are good idea. from what I've read, starting in 74, all of the largest Ford's(Lincoln's and Mercury's too) came with ABS, as well. so, ABS and four wheel discs? sounds good to me...
Nice Ford! And should pull a trailer well with the 400 engine. I really like this, even though the interior green is not my favorite, the exterior green with the woodgrain is sweet! A set of 15" K-H Magnum 500 chrome Road Wheels would make this beast pop!
Remember this loaded rustbucket Colony Park? Rev went to look at it the end of March. Wouldn't it be a great donor car for this nice Country Squire? The interior and wheels were available in both Ford and Mercury. I hate that all this wonderful stuff will probably be going away forever! It could turn this ok Country Squire into a show stopper. Just got done watching the last minute of bidding. It went from $2,850 to $4,201 in just nine seconds. So, at least it got out of the derby-guy range!!!
