This probably is a pretty nice old Chevy wagon. A new paint job would do it wonders!

It has the mag hubcaps on the floor in the back, too. Two-tone blue, no wood, and I am absolutely certain that is an 80s Custom Cruiser swap for the seats. Note the pattern on the seats, vinyl backs, even a cloth third row. Original Caprice seats didn't have that pattern, they were plain cloth. Even the cop package with the knit cloth seats was more of a crisscross and not a polka dot pattern.

Definitely Oldsmobile seats. A 60/40 split bench. The optional split on the Caprice was 50/50.

Even as a fixer upper, I'm not seeing a $1700 car.....

This Caprice has been for sale for a long time. There must be reasons why it has not sold when priced relatively cheap at $1700.

I think those reasons might be spray can primer and an incorrect off color Oldsmobile interior.

Also its not an "Estate" wagon, because it does not have the woodgrain. On those Caprice wagons, the "Estate" option added woodgrain, this one appears to just be a Caprice Classic.

I think it is odd that of the dozen or so interesting wagons I posted the other night off Craigslist, wagons of all makes and years, including some really cool old Colony Parks, this ugly boring dog is really the only one that has had any response...the rest, no interest.
