This one is currently making its second round on ebay. It's up to $3800+ with one day left. I doubt it's going to see $8500. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wago...2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&forcev4exp=true
Front seat has a rip... Steering wheel is crap... That damn ANT on quarter... (ugh) Very visible rust on lower doors and sills.... LOTS of miles.... WAYYYY over priced... (and I am going to bet it is not just my opinion)
A bit expensive and not a Colony Park... Therefore, not the ultimate luxury wagon. Sorry GM fans. Either Colony Park and those Chrysler Town And Country wagon have this one beat. Especially if the Chrysler is of the St. Regis sub-model.
Good to see you back here posting, Taranau! And very sorry to here of the demise of your CP................ I was certainly looking for a nice one a few months ago (Had a line on one down in Arizona, but apparently it wasn't all that it appeared to be, as the dealer unloaded it back to the auction where they got it). I ended up with this nice Pontiac Safari. Marshall
If you haven't already, clickee on the dealer's linkee....they've got some real beauties with some detailed pics.
Thanks for the condolences. I remember posting, back when I'd gotten the CP, that I would probably lose it to someone without insurance. As it turned out, they had insurance. The problem was, their insurance company didn't value my wagon as much as I did.:banghead3: They said she was only worth $1,600. Ended up with an Escort wagon. Not the same! That's gone now too. It's drivetrain ate itself up. $3,600 to fix a $900 car didn't seem like a good idea. When we went looking for a wagon and ended up with the CP, we had looked at a couple Buick Electra wagons and a Pontiac wagon too. They're good wagons, don't get me wrong. Went on a desert cruise one weekend in a mid-60's Bonneville wagon, me and a girlfriend had borrowed from somebody. Horrendous on gas, but a joy to drive.
One hour to go and just above 3900$.... And no ones noticed it has NO wood decal.. That is brown paint.. And the tailgate is uuggglly if you look at the close up of it... Gotta admit a '70 Buick has a soft spot in my heart.. I actually like 'em... Just not 8000$ worth of likin'....
