it would present a lot better with whitewalls. I don't think they made enough RMW's painted that color? I should talk owning a white '92 Custom Cruiser. With blackwalls the whale wagons look like a pretty women wearing a formal evening gown with the old style black army boots on her feet.
I agree about the whitewalls, but the boots... I like boots on a woman. Heals are dangerous and bad for you.
Xavier, there was a time not too long before your birth that telling somebody that their mom wears army boots was once an insult that often would cause a fight......
I know. I'm familiar with the phrase... But my wife wears boots. I wear boots... normally. My boots broke and now I'm wearing some weird preppy things but I'm not complaining they were free and they do look good. I like boots. They just make sense. Just like whitewall on a whale.
"Your Mother Wears Army Boots"...... Well I double dog dare ya to tell her that! My off to the ladies in service, ladies who have been in service for generations before our time, yet history keeps this silent
Roadmaster 75- First Post In March, 1964, I purchased my first station wagon, a 1959 Buick Le Sabre wagon. I used it to move from Dallas to Chicago for a job transfer. This was a great vehicle! In December, 1966, I drove it to San Antonio for Christmas and gave it to my mother because she had wanted a Buick Station Wagon for years. Later, I few back to Chicago (Oak Park, Ill.) and went to the Olds dealer to get my brand new 1967 Oldsmobile 442, which I had ordered prior to going to San Antonio. (I still have the "442"). For years I wanted another wagon. On August 6, 2012, I purchased a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Collectors Edition station wagon with only 37,500 miles. The Corvette LT-1 engine gives it plenty of power and good fuel economy with about 16 mpg city and 20-24 mpg highway. I liked this wagon so well that I also bought a 1994 Buick Roadmaster wagon for spare parts. Its runs and drives well eventhough it has 265 K miles on it. It drives more like only 50K to 60K miles. Evidenty, a very durable vehicle! Currently, I am looking for a 1957 Buick or Oldsmobile wagon to purchase.
I might if I really wanted a Roadmaster wagon. This one looks like it would make a very good daily driver if someone wanted to use it for that. At 49k miles it is barely even broken in. Roadmaster wagons in general are not difficult to find, but low mileage ones are. Most Roadmaster wagons up for sale are pushing 200k miles, which proves they are very durable and long lived cars.
49,000 miles and 3 owners? And, I agree with KK....pretty lousy photography. On purpose?;... for some reason (like maybe it's been repainted from the bottom trim line down?), or just a bad photographer?
