The 1971 posted on Chattanooga craigslist has been for sale awhile.

The one in Pensacola also sounds worth saving if it is complete and running. No title should not be a big deal on a car that old. Most states will accept a bill of sale.

I agree, if the lack of a title is why they are calling it a parts car, that is really not an issue. Sure would be nice to see some pics of that '71 in Florida.

I am amazed that the one in GA has not sold. Why are these deals not around when I have money? That is why I paid $4000 for mine in '07. I looked high and low for a clamshell. lol.

Yeah, that is very much like it. The outside is virtually the same... the interior difference is the difference between a Safari and Grand Safari. Not quite as "fancy" on the inside, but still nice.

I would love to have this Grand Safari, they are one of my most favorite clams!

That first one is a nice enough car. That RF fender is a weird one, though...looks like a piece is broken like plastic instead of bent like metal. ???

Silverfox if i remember correctly they are potmetal? My vegas had potmetal headlight assembly's on them too,GM used that on a lot of the 70's cars.Potmetal breaks like that.

Yeah....looks like a pot metal or plastic break, but, I look at the two fenders and it looks to me to be the actual fender and not the headlight housing....????

Those bolt on and extend the front of the fenders but are not part of them.
I'm not sure if they're part of the header panel assembly on a Pontiac like they are on an Olds?

Its an extension of the fender. Made from fiberglass and damn near impossible to find if you break one!

With all the tree branch shadows I couldn't see a line for the header...didn't realize there is one. I guess I see it now...unless it's a shadow.

Would love to see pics of the '71 Grand Safari in FL. I wonder if it has the woodgrain option? I would love to have the Catalina Safari in GA as well!

    I want, I want, I want. LOL.
