Not perfect but still a very nice wagon.

Agree with the owner that the Buy It Now price of $7000 is not at all unreasonable. This is a rare and loaded Chrysler with minor flaws. ;)

Love it and want it. But, I have to say, dents in the wood areas are a serious problem. I do love this year and model, though. One of my top favorites. Almost bought one before I bought my Cappy...until the seller got greedy and then was stuck with it.
    Anyway....I love this car.:yup:

This car is spectacular. Well worth every penny of the buy it now price. Not often you see one this well equipped. The only two options I can see missing are the steel road wheels, which were available on wagons, just not very common, and the vent windows, which were only available on cars with air conditioning. The little bits of road rash bother me not at all. They are true patina of a car that has been used carefully and looked after. The only thing that needs attention soon is that one spot of rust on the front fender. I would do a careful spot repair, and then use paint to blend in the rest of the original dy-noc. It would show, but it would leave the rest of the original finish intact. Oh, and I would change out the bumper over riders on the rear bumper. I would also have the new ones re-chromed, even if they are NOS, and mint. The factory finish on those over riders seemed to be thin, and they do tend to rust prematurely.

Weird how the plastic on the lower front door panels faded and dried out but the rear door panels look perfect.

    Pretty car!

Well folks, I'm not going to lie. I am seriously considering this Chrysler and putting my '66 Squire up for sale. I really like this car. It's ready to drive and enjoy and it would be cheaper than paint/bodywork/woodgrain for my '66. Hmmmmm.......

Looks like the reserve has been met somewhere around $6000. Now it comes down to who wants it more.

Maybe. Might come down to who has more money. Hard to beat a guy that has tons of money. I always hope that the guy that wins a nice car is the guy that loves it most.
    Good luck, Prof!(y)

This is a tough one...it's private so you can't follow the people that are bidding to know who is doing what. Even though you don't know their names in a regular auction you can tell which person is bidding what and when. These private auctions (which I hate) are blind and make it difficult, if not impossible, to read what is going on.
