I saw this listing yesterday. What a gorgeous example of this model. My grandparents had an 85 or 86 like this in black, so this one brings back memories for me. One of my first real vacations away from home as a kid, we took the T&C to the Outer Banks. The only thing I can remember them complaining about was a problem with the left tail light. Almost every time it rained the bulb would end up blowing and they never could find how the water got in there. I was very sad to see the Town and Country go when they traded it for an 89 Grand Voyager woody in the early 90s. Although these cars may not appeal to everyone out there, I would be absolutely thrilled to have it in my garage :thumbs2:

If you want a K-Car wagon, this is the one to get! Not many were built, and for sure, not many this nice and this original. Those Mark Cross seats are different from the regular ones, too. Very, very comfortable. Not my personal choice of car, but for rarity and originality, it really is special.

Is this that same dealer in Florida that had (what appeared to be until an educated AMCer picked it apart) a clean looking AMC full size wagon for sale a year or two ago? I see his trademarks in the newly painted undercarriage and the fresh silver paint on the exhaust. I also wonder how/why the carpet got so dirty?

    Ahh. See this ad. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15882&highlight=amc

Reference CadiPacer and airboats responses. I'm 99% sure this is the same seller

I want this car SO bad!!! It is everything that I want in one of these! 48 minutes left and it's pushing $6 K.....too much for me. One has to think what $6 K will buy. This is a helluva nice car and I have always wanted one just like this, but, I can't afford it along with my Cappy. Love this car. Love it.:thumbs2: I WANT IT!
